Homemade Boba Pearls

A simple recipe to make chewy boba pearls from scratch using only three ingredients.

What you need

oz tapioca starch

oz dark brown sugar
Instructions
1. Place water and sugar in a pot and cook it until the sugar is melted. 2. Reduce the heat and add 2 tbsp of tapioca starch and keep mixing until you get a pasty consistency. 3. Turn off the heat and add the remaining starch and mix it. 4. Place the dough on a surface and knead it until all starch is well combined. 5. Cut and roll them into mini size balls. 6. Add some starch to prevent the bobas from sticking to each other. 7. On a stove top, place a pot of boiling water and add those bobas. Stir occasionally while cooking until it’s done. 8. Place the cooked bobas in a bowl of ice water. It will add more chewiness to the boba. 9. Enjoy it with any drink you like!View original recipe
